Tech faculty join fight against cancer

At a Feb. 20 event held at the Georgia State Capitol, the Georgia Cancer Coalition introduced 32 new Distinguished Cancer Clinicians and Scientists (DCCS) and awarded nearly $1 million in research grants to 20 investigators. Georgia Tech’s delegation consisted of eight — three who joined the DCCS and five who received awards from the Cancer Research Fund.
