Tech’s Think Green Week culminated in the 2008 Earth Day celebration on April 18 between Skiles and the Student Center. Themed “Take Action: Code Green,” events included live performances, a visit from Captain Planet (left), and booths providing environmentally conscious information (Project Greenhands, below). The week’s events included a fashion show on Thursday (left) featuring gently used cloting. The Institute also launched its Web site, www.greenbuzz.gatech.edu, which showcases sustainability practices, research and volunteer opportunities from across the Institute.
