Computer-based courses on software, networking and more
Students, faculty and staff now can access 650 computer-based training (CBT) titles. Computer-based training offers interactive, self-paced training courses, providing a wide variety of topics and software vendor titles, including Windows 95/NT, the Microsoft Office Suite, networking and various programming languages. Courses can be accessed by downloading titles to a workstation or personal computer or by viewing them via an online Web browser using CBT’s Liveplay feature. The CBT courses are being offered in response to a campuswide training assessment led by the Administrative Excellence Task Force. For more information about how to access CBT, see the Georgia Tech training Web site at www.training.gatech.edu/cbt/index.html. The courses are free.
